What’s included when you rent with Little’s Vehicle Hire?
Insurance
Insurance is included in the cost of hiring the vehicle. With our standard insurance, the excess, which is what you could be liable for, is £1,500. For an additional payment (£15 for one day), you can purchase Collision Damage Waiver, which will reduce your liability for any damage down to £250. Roadside Assistance
Although it is unlikely that you will be involved in a breakdown or an accident, you have the piece of mind that you are provided with a 24 Hour Helpline to fully assist you.
Mileage Allowance
We offer 120 free miles per day (up to 5 days hire). All hires of more than 5 days are subject to a 600 miles per week allowance. If you exceed your mileage allowance, you will be charged 25p per mile + VAT for vans and cars and 32p + VAT per mile for minibuses.
Insurance
Insurance is included in the cost of hiring the vehicle.
The insurance does not cover:
- Theft of property from within the vehicle
- The driver of the vehicle’s personal injury or loss of life
- The vehicle being used for ‘Hire and Reward’

Collision Damage Waiver is primarily to reduce your liability should you become involved in a road traffic accident.
It does not cover:
- The costs associated with putting the wrong type of fuel in the vehicle
- Loss of keys
- Damage to the interior of the vehicle
- Costs of recovery as a result of a road traffic accident when no third party is involved
- Damage caused as a result of failure to pay due care and attention, for example hitting low level bridges or trees

If you exceed your mileage allowance, you will be charged 25 Pence per mile (plus VAT) for vans and cars and 32 pence per mile (plus VAT) for minibuses.
You can still hire from us if you have up to 6 penalty points for speeding fines. It is also possible with convictions for other offences. Please Contact Us and we will be able to quickly advise you.

You need to provide your Driving licence and 2 forms of ID, one confirming address and dated within the last 3 months (for example a bank statement or Utility Bill). Your Drivers Licence will be checked against the DVLA database prior to hire. You should either download and email your own “Check Code” from the DVLA website or provide us with your National Insurance number so that we may check your license on your behalf. All Hires must be paid on a debit or credit card in the driver’s name.
The standard excess for our vehicles is £1,500. If you purchase excess waiver, this reduces to £250.

We accept all major credit cards and debit cards.
Yes. You will be required to pay a security deposit by debit or credit card. This will be refunded on the safe undamaged return of vehicle which is refuelled.
An additional driver can be added for £10 per day.
Yes there is limited parking at our branches however your vehicle is parked at your own risk.
